Adventure Days Preschool has been a part of the Tierrasanta community since 1980. We provide a safe, fun, educational and engaging learning environment for children ages 12 weeks through 5 years of age. Over the summer months, we offer a dynamic School Age Summer Camp for the Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
We believe that children learn through play and play-based experiences. A child’s work is their play and their play is their work. Just as important as our work is to us as adults, so is a child’s play important to who they are and how they interact with their world and surroundings.
We equip our preschool-aged children to thrive in their learning environment. This is done through offering developmentally appropriate learning activities and engaging curriculum. Through clearly spelled out learning objectives and a variety of group and individual activities offered, our teachers allow children to grow socially, emotionally, spiritually, physically and academically, setting each of our preschoolers up to succeed and thrive when they get to kindergarten!
Our desire is for your children to learn about themselves and the world around them while developing self-expression, independence and confidence through creative and fun activities at preschool!
Curriculum
The curriculum at Adventure Days meets California State Standards for early education. Teachers design lesson plans around five domains including physical development, social, emotional and cognitive skills. As a Christian preschool a fifth domain is included, spiritual enrichment. All areas of learning are presented from a biblical world view, with specific goals and benchmarks.
